Introducing A Band Called Malice—a tribute like no other, paying homage to the legendary sounds of The Jam.
The name itself, a clever twist on The Jam’s iconic hit “A Town Called Malice,” sets the stage for an unforgettable experience.
Led by the talented Andy Coultas as Paul Weller and Warren Mee as Rick Buckler, the band boasts not one but two exceptional bassists, Matt Barker and Chris Barr, skillfully embodying the spirit of Bruce Foxton. While Matt was the original bassist, the addition of Chris has only enhanced the band’s dynamic performances.
Visit our website’s “Meet the Band” page for insights into each member, including our dedicated manager, Steve Humberstone, whose passion for “The Jam” is evident in every aspect.
At our gigs, prepare to be captivated by the fiery and skillful renditions of classic Jam songs. A Band Called Malice delivers a high-energy reproduction of The Jam’s iconic hits, taking you on a journey from their explosive debut in 1977 with “In the City” to their timeless tracks, including album favorites and B-sides.
Recognized for our authenticity, we’ve been selected as finalists in the National Tribute Awards in just our second year together. The pinnacle of our success? A coveted tour of the O2 Academy network in 2024—a testament to the high-quality performances we consistently deliver.
Immerse yourself in the entire Jam discography, featuring tracks from all six studio albums, rare B-sides, and those classics you can’t help but sing along to— “The Eton Rifles,” “Down in the Tube Station at Midnight,” “Start,” “That’s Entertainment,” “Going Underground,” and, of course, “A Town Called Malice.”
For devoted Jam fans, this is an experience not to be missed! Tickets priced at £13.50, plus booking fee. Doors open at 7 pm, with the support band taking the stage at 7:30 pm. Please note that The Alhambra is a mixed seating/standing venue, and the event is strictly for ages 18 and above.
Jam on, and get ready for an electrifying night with A Band Called Malice!
